Love Books
February 2025 - Present
I approached Love Books to film their popular book launches.
The goal was to not only record the launches but create a dedicated YouTube channel and promote the videos and drive new online sales via short clips on their social media channels.

Personal reflections on the project
Key Takeaways
The original Love Books website was built five years before on WordPress and integrated with WooCommerce, a system I'm not totally familiar with. It took me a while merely to figure out how the website was built before I could start selling with it.
This was my first video client in a while, and I had forgotten how many variables there are to consider when filming in-person. I quickly learnt the value of checklists and was not shy to invest in better gear that would make post-production simpler and the final product better.
While the first few published videos weren't great, I absolutely value just getting started and working iteratively. It is really valuable to be able to learn on the job and from mistakes. The fact that the first reel I shared went somewhat viral (80k+ views in the first 28 days) proves my point.
